Just a friendly reminder that each Wednesday, enjoy Soup and Bread at The Hideout from about 5 'til 8. Local folks make soup, you come and eat it for free, and then make a donation to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. I've already done my soup bit, but will be baking some bread for this week's round. I've got a stinky bubbly starter that I hope will transfer it's sourness to the loaves I'll bake tomorrow morning. It's a great cause, a hip place, and the soup (and bread) is always good! More from me on my recent immersion in cassoulet and cocktails soon...
