So just as I'm ready to get back up and running, a minor writing-impairing calamity strikes: the "a" button on my mac has stopped working. (To be fair, it isn't Apple's fault--I blame a bottle of Argentinian Cabernet, yes Argentinian Cabernet, which had the nerve to spill over onto my keyboard while being sloshed around.) How am I getting these a's in now, you ask? Cutting and pasting. While the idea of writing in this manner seems to further the "On The Dole" image, it simply won't do, as I can say that these few lines have nearly driven me crazy. Thus, back to the street for me to scrounge up some change to make this repair happen. More on this wonderfully sour salad using my own vinegar and homemade sauerkraut and Gene's pork explosion soon.
